Stage 1: For stimulating oestrus after weaning.
· Stimulates hormonal interaction in sexually mature gilts and sows speeding up cyclic activity after weaning.
· Improves external signs of oestrus pronounced as standing reflex or a positive back pressure test confirmed if necessary by boar presence.
· Helps to determine more accurately the onset of oestrus in gilts and sows.
· Shorten introduction frecuency of boar in to shows/gilts female
pigs.
. Improves fertility by reducing the length of empty days.
· Reduces the number of boars used for oestrus detection.
Application of Servistim
◦ Apply Servistim on the snout of the female, 1-2 sprays twice a day, starting from day 3 after weaning. If necessary use
a boar in the morning and Servistim in the afternoon.
◦ Keep record of female sexual behaviour, in order to determine the onset of oestrus by a well trained staff. Remember that the first phase of the oestrus is demonstrated by positive reaction to the boar (approximately 10 hours). During this period, negative reaction to back pressure test is considered as normal. Thereafter, the gilt or sow will demonstrate a positive reaction to the back pressure test and will also be attracted to a boar presence.
◦ A positive back pressure test should be recorded as the beginning of the second phase of the oestrus cycle after which the female should be served or treated by A.I. 12 to 24 hours later.
Servistim will assist in stimulation of the oestrus cycle from day after weaning until the time of service or A.I.
Stage 2: With A.I.
· Stimulates sexual response of gilts and sows during Artificial Insemination procedure.
· Decreases semen losses occurring during A.I. by improving the positive reaction of the reproductive tract to the semen.
· Reduces the timing of the A.I. procedure.
· Reduces to a minimum the necessity of boar presence during A.I.
· Can play an important role to reduce the aggressive behaviour of pre-puberal pigs.
· Has a calming effect on gilts during A.I.
Application of Servistim with A.I.
◦ Confirm oestrus by applying the back pressure test.
◦ Deliver a few (1-2) sprays on the snout of the sow or gilt.
◦ Proceed with A.I. or service.
Precautions:
-Do not spray Servistim onto hands or clothing unnecessarily.
-Wash hands with soap and water after use and change affected clothing.
-Avoid direct breathing of spray. Use of dust mask is recommended during application.
-Servistim is only intented for external use one animal.

-Each spray contains 100 ml.
-Product is flammable. Do not use near open flame.
-Keep below 40ºC.
-Contains no CFC´s.
-Storage at -10º C is recommended. It will not solidify in cold weather.
